It was a beautiful summer day in the city of Tokyo, the Flower Division had just closed off their most recent play last night and was celebrating by visiting a local festival.
"Faster Kanna, faster!" Iris laughed as she road on the shoulder of the Flower Division's strongest star.
"You've got it, Iris!" Kanna laughed along as she sped up and ran right through a crowd of people, moving them aside like bowling pins.
"Hey! Slow down you two!" Sakura and Ogami yelled simultaneously as they tried to keep up with the charging titan.
"Ugh, honestly. Did we need to bring the gorilla along?" Sumire rolled her eyes.
As Kanna and Iris charged toward some food stalls, they barely noticed the strange woman in their path. This odd woman was wearing a blue full body robe in the middle of summer that completely concealed her face in shadow.
"WOOAAAAAH!" Kanna tried to signal with her arms that the woman should move, but it was too late. She was knocked to the ground where she stood.
"Oops." Iris said, before tugging at Kanna's clothes "Can we get some cotton candy now?"
The woman on the ground was about to pull herself up, when suddenly she was pushed to the ground again by a heeled foot!
"How much more candy could you two possibly eat?" Sumire said with a grimace, not even noticing that she was standing on top of another person.
"Be nice, Sumire. Festivals like this only happen every once in a while." Kohran said with a smile as she walked around the person Sumire was standing on.
As the whole team finally caught up to Kanna and Iris, the anger levels within the woman on the ground began to rise until she finally mustered up the strength to push Sumire off her, sending the rich heiress to the ground.
"How dare you?!" Sumire practically screamed as she hit the dirt. "Do you have any idea who I am?! No one treats Sumire Kanzaki like this?!"
Before Sumire could roll up her sleeves and punch the poor woman, Kanna began to hold the actress back with a single hand.
"Foolish girl, you stepped on me first! Apologize now or face dire consequences!" The robed woman gave her ultimatum.
"Pshh, people around the world would line up to be stepped on by me! You should be on your knees crying about how the great Sumire Kanzaki gave you the time of day." Sumire rolled her eyes, not considering apologizing for a second.
"Then you shall all be cursed!" The woman said before waving her hands around.
Not a moment later, Sumire, Kanna, and the entire Flower Division were frozen in time. The festival was far too crowded for people other than the strange woman to notice. While the team were frozen, the magical woman began to read their minds, memories, and thoughts.
"Great beauty, superior strength, groundbreaking intelligence, youthful spirit. Blessed by all of this and yet so rude! Now watch as your great blessings are all taken away!" The woman waved her hands one more time and zapped the whole team with what appeared to be blue lighting.
After the lightning faded, the team was unfrozen in time. Unaware that anything had just happened or that a few seconds had even passed. "I'll be waiting for when you are ready to repent." The cloaked woman warned as she walked away and soon vanished into the crowd.
Sumire rolled her eyes "Breaking news: Tokyo still full of crazy people." Ready to forget this ever happened, she turned around to continuing enjoying the festival with her teammates. Unaware of the transforming curse that had just be put on them.
