Description: Rebecca and Phil are a deeply loving couple, and as normal as could be. Philip works at a major tech firm and, unfortunately, has to go on a fortnight long business trip directly after Rebecca's 26th birthday, in fact he has to leave on the day, and having managed to delay hos departure as much as he could, had to leave after giving Rebecca his present; a beautiful antique necklace, which he personal fastened around her neck before he left.
Each night he's away the pair talk on video chat, and after a few days they begin to realize something is wrong; every time Philip gave Rebecca an instruction she did it without a single thought, even if she didn't want to. They quickly deduce that it must be the necklace, but even when Philip orders her to, Rebecca is unable to remove it.
After a few days of searching they finally find the true history of the necklace; whoever wears it becomes the slave of whoever puts it on them. For the first five days, this just means that they will obey any command given, but at midnight after the 5th full day of wearing the necklace, the slave's life begins to change into that of a slave, including her clothes, belongings and the reaction of people around them, on sundown on the 7th full day, the spell becomes permanent and the wearer will forever be a slave.
They learn this on the night of the 5th full day. With just 2 days can Phillip find a way to get back to Rebecca before the second sundown or will she be his slave forever. And as he rushes to untangle himself from his commitments and find his way back to her, how will Rebecca's life change around her as her slavery becomes more encompassing?

Description: To the outside observer Jessica Bennet lives a charmed life; she is popular, beautiful, talented and always puts on a happy face. What she never lets anyone see is that behind this mask is a broken girl; Her mother died in childbirth, and with her died any happiness her father, Andrew, may have had - and any love he may have had for her. His first attempt to fill the void was alcoholism, then he took to gambling. Unfortunately a depressed alcoholic is not a good gambler and his debts started pilling up.
On Jessica's 18th birthday however, he seemed to have changed, happily celebrating with her, even giving her a glass of wine. Having never been drunk she didn't realize that the tiredness she was feeling wasn't from the alcohol, but the sleeping pills dissolved into it. Andrew was in debt to some very dangerous criminals, and to clear those debts, he sold the one thing of value he had left, Jessica.
Waking up in a cell, Jessica's new reality soon becomes apparent, but what exactly will her new owners do to turn her from a prisoner to a slave? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
