But there were projects that didn't turn out so well... from minor failures to even several that destroyed the house several times, needing other inventions to be repaired and also explaining why the Boyds weren't the richest family in the state, needing Yoel's land to live a middle-class lifestyle, but there was no problem since he liked to work
A few minutes later Sara came up with the news that her new experiment was ready, only missing test subjects and some spare parts, which made the family happy, who finished their breakfast together and calmly. Afterwards Sara would go out to buy what was needed, slamming the door in excitement, although at that moment Mike, the family cat, got scared due to the sound and ran everywhere until he reached the basement. Iris offered to go down to get her pet, it didn't bother her anyway; She would go down carefully so as not to activate any experiments, she only went down when she was part of her mother's experiments and every time she did it was like being in a new wonderland, which happened again on this day when she saw all her mother's new projects.
Iris would find Mike somewhat scared, not only by the sound but by the aesthetics of the laboratory that for a cat was even worse than for a human, the girl very carefully tried to go for her cat but the fear made the latter jump accidentally pressing some buttons that would activate the new invention of the mother of the Boyd family.
At that moment Iris was shot by a purple ray that hit her directly in the shoulder when it was reflected in a mirror that was in the place, the girl would realize and see if she had no physical damage which luckily seemed to be the case but, at that moment...
