Castle-like City -Demi-Humans or Dark Elves

You start to walk thru the trees. Having the whole forest pass by your knees, you start to feel that you may be walking upon a world unlike any you can imagine. You try to get past the forest, to open space where you might be able to truly gauge the size and power of your body compared to others.
It takes about 4 minutes to get to the other side of the forest. As you are about to step beyond the forest, you notice what could be a city, but it looks like something of a model size--like a train set collection?
You shake your head. You have no idea what you are thinking, it seems that phrase doesn't come from this world, but from somewhere else? As you shake your head again to rid yourself of the doubt, you take another look at the buildings.
Scoping with your eyes, your view can observe traveling caravans moving on what looks like cleared roads, and the roads run back and forth in the landscape. They lead right to the edge of the forest, and to one thing out in the open area that seems to look like--
