Bruce was the first to come to, stirring slightly. When he woke up, at first he thought he somehow wound up in the Hall of Justice. That whatever the strange anomaly over Gotham was, it might have just teleported him somewhere. Stranger things had happened to the Batman before when dealing with aliens and cosmic forces beyond his control. He could tell by his gauntlets he was still wearing his batsuit, it just felt different somehow. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. He used a desk to prop himself up. He paused as he caught a glimpse of his reflection in one of the computer screens.
Batman squinted. He wasn't wearing his suit at all. He was dressed like an owl of all things. He removed his cowl and stared at his reflection. He looked mostly the same, albeit with some unkempt stubble, messy hair, and dark bags under his eyes. He still looked like Bruce Wayne. What, did the anomaly just alter his appearance and change his location? If that was the case then where was Dick?
"Mmmm...." a female voice groaned. Bruce looked down and saw a beautiful tanned woman with long dark hair. She looked like a cross between Diana and Lois. She was certainly gorgeous. A new recruit to the Justice League maybe. Why hadn't he been informed of her? He lowered his cowl to protect his identity while he figured all of this out. "Are you alright miss?" He noticed she was dazed and groggy.
"B-bruce?"
She whispered.
"How do you know my name..?"
"It's me! I'm Dick..." she squeaked, glancing down at her ample cleavage that rested in her black costume.
"Why are you dressed like an owl and... why do I have boobs?"
Bruce turned away from the girl wonder and started vigorously typing away at the Owlcomputer. He pulled up images of what he believed to be members of this world's versions of his friends.
"No... no... no!"
Bruce frowned at what he saw. Evil versions of himself and his friends wreaking havoc on this earth. His worst fear had come to fruition in this universe. He'd made countless contingency plans if members of the JL became corrupted one way or another. He never once counted on the entire team becoming evil. What made matters worse was their leader was the polar opposite of the Clark he knew. A kryptonian that reminded him more of General Zod than Superman.
"It's a lot to explain but there is a multiverse. We were somehow transported to a reality where the heroes of our world are villains here and vice versa."
He sighed.
"Wait, so who are we supposed to be then?"
"I'm Owlman and you're Superwoman."
"Why am I a girl and not just an evil version of myself or something? Darkwing?"
"That name is taken. And I don't know, Dick. I believe our best course of action for now is to try to blend in as best we can while causing minimal damage. We can attempt to link up with this world's Justice League and see if they can help us return to where we came from... if there are any heroes left."
"The bad guys are on top around here? You're kidding..."
"They intimidate local governments, they kill, they steal, all in the name of metahuman supremacy. They corrupt young metahumans to join their cause so they have no shortage of recruits to their Crime Syndicate."
Dick was listening to Bruce talk and started to lean on the controls a little bit, only to cause the hard metal to give way fairly easily.
"Sorry..."
"You have super strength, speed, and agility granted by the Greek Gods. As Superwoman, you are the Queen of the Amazons and... Ultraman's fiancé."
