A huge red flash spread out from the bulb which enveloped the entire room. The unexpected blast of light caught you totally off guard, forcing you to shield your eyes. You could feel an almost static like cling across your entire body, causing all your hair to stand on end. By the time your eyes recovered, you quickly realized that something was definitely not right. The world around you didn't seem familiar anymore. You had no idea where you were.
“W-what...?!? I’m naked”
After rubbing your eyes a bit, it became shockingly clear that you were no longer in your bedroom anymore. For starters, you were now standing knee deep countless bushels of thick, rope-like twine. At first you assumed that you were outside, but then your realized the sky was actually a ceiling, and the sun was artificial.
“W-where am I?!” You yelled out in fear as you pushed away at the thick springy ropes engulfing your legs.
As you turned around, you came face to face with something that sent a shiver down your spine.
“No..wait.... that’s .. that’s impossible. … How could...?!”
There, towering over you like a building was a stack of gigantic engineering textbooks.
“Wait....no,...no way…”
You tilted your head higher and higher until you came to finally recognize the huge wooden structure looming over you.
“That’s… my desk…?!!?” You gasped.
All the puzzle pieces were quickly forming into a larger picture.
“I...shrunk??! H-how?! How small am!?” Your heart was now beating like a drum. As you stood there, trying to calm yourself down, a far away noise suddenly captured your attention. There was a loud, ominous shifting sound emanating from the other side of the room where your bed was. The platform where you usually slept now looked absolutely mountainous.
There was a deafening creaking of springs as something large began to shift atop the mattress.
“Wait...what the hel--”
Then, suddenly, without warning....
***THOOOOOOM***
The floor beneath you shook with a force comparable to an earthquake. Before you could stabilize himself, a second tremor knocked you off your feet.
“W-what the hell is happening!?” You screamed, fearfully clinging to one of the countless carpet fibers surrounding you.
The consecutive tremors were rhythmic, and growing more intense by the second. Unsure of what was happening, you just held your head down and braced yourself.
Just as the loud, booming earthquakes were at their worst, the shaking stopped.
You were still trembling as you slowly lifted up your head and opened your eyes. For some reason, everything on the floor around you seemed a little bit darker.
It was only when you finally looked up that you realized why.
You were being eclipsed by the shadow of an colossal giant standing over you..
The blood rushed from your face, leaving you ghost white as you recognized the looming titan.
“k-k……” You were unable to summon words. Nearly two yards away from you were two massive, socked, house-sized feet connected to two colossal legs covered by a familiar pair of blue pajamas. You continued to tilt your head higher up to a white white tee-shirt.
“Oh god.....” You whimpered.
Beyond the tee-shirt was your younger brother’s head, which was tilted down towards your direction. The giant boy's seemingly blank expression was shrouded in shadow.
