Your Own Toy Story

You figure that you're just under 2 inches tall, just the right size to explore and spy, but also to be seen if you needed to eventual get help.

As you start to think about all your options you remember that your younger brother was having a sleep over for the whole weekend, and your parents were unexpectedly called away leaving your older brother in charge, you had said you were going to stay at one of your friends before heading to your room to call and grab your stuff. You were just about to call when you blacked out, and now you were shrunk and everyone would assume you were at your friends.

Since this has been one of your dreams for so long you decide to remain unaware to everyone at least until you feel the need to let someone know, and if someone notices, you are the perfect size to be mistaken for a small toy.
