The game booted up and a dramatic fantasy song started playing with a modern title screen showing on the tv.
"Hm. Guess it's a fantasy game."
"Fantasy. That's, like, the one with dragons and dungeons, right?" She had to look over Ashley's ass to see anything because she was still climbed over the table.
"Yes, it is. Here, let me connect the spare controller for you." Ashley did so, and once she was done she crawled back over the table and sat next to Shelby. She handed the controller over to her roommate.
"Thanks. So uh...how do I use this?" Shelby asked holding the controller upside down.
Ashley gave Shelby a quick run down on how to use a playstation controller. "You got it? You'll figure it out the more you play."
"Uh, alright," Shelby said, not at all confident in her ability to figure it out.
Ashley pressed start for the both of them and started a new save. They were taken to a character creation screen, including stats and traits.
"Hm. Guess it's like an RPG."
"And RPwhat?"
"Role playing game. You basically play a character with stats that you build up. Kind like roleplaying your character's life gaining experiences."
"Oh, I see."
They both looked closer at their default characters. "Hey, is that me?" Shelby asked.
"Hm. The default characters do look a lot like us, huh?"
They weren't wrong. The default player characters looked exactly like them in their underwear. The image of Ashley's gorgeous naked body aroused Shelby a bit, but unbeknownst to her, Ashley was blushing at the sight of Shelby's lithe body on display too. They had been living together for a few months now, so they didn't mind the other seeing them naked, though.
"Uh... I think the store guy said that all his stuff was magic. You think this is, like, part of that?" Shelby asked.
"Hm. Pretty gimmicky magic, if you ask me," Ashley said.
