A large Artifact

Usually as you do every saturday morning, you clean the house. You walk down to the basement to get some cleaning stuff, like squeegees and brooms, and see that the place is a complete mess. You spend some time tidying things up there and ends up finding something weird.
Behind some cardboard boxes with cleaning and old stuff, you found a large wood crate.
You have no idea about what it is or what would be inside this, or how something big as it could be placed in there. But now you're curious to see what have in the crate.

The large crate have no labels, marks or something that could help to identify where it from or its owner. And the only way to you see what is inside of it is opening it. To your luck, you have a crowbar in the basement and you grab it to open the crate.
You open the crate and see...
