In the wake of his fight with All Might, All For One had been severely wounded. Most of his face had been destroyed, permanently depriving him of his senses of sight and smell. Had the fight continued then no doubt All Might would have finished him off even at the cost of dying himself. It infuriated All For One to no end, how he had been so humiliated and it was all because of that blasted quirk that his brother had passed down. No matter, he'd get his revenge on the number hero eventually, it was all in a matter of time.
"Are you sure, you are up for this?" The Doctor questioned as he looked at his monsters. "If you wait a little longer I'm sure I can find a quirk to help you."
"Tempting, but the chances are slim." AFO told him. "As it stands this body is already getting old and worn. I was reaching my limit a while back, and after that fight I can feel like I'm almost over the edge." He explained. "While Shigaraki prepares himself, I'm sure I can make do with any new body." All For One told him.
Over the years when the Symbol of Evil collected quirks, he found all sorts of powers. Some were simple like super strength, but there were others he had found, that were far more complex. Some powers required intense studying to make use off, require extra knowledge on things like sciences to better utilize. These were harder and AFO always found it easier to avoid them in favor of pure power. That said there was one quirk that he did take despite its complexities.
The Possessor Quirk...
This quirk was simple in concept, but dangerous in execution. In the most basic form, it allowed one to possess the body of another, taking there identity, memories and even powers for themselves. It was powerful, but it required strong will to do. Luckily, All For One had years to strengthen his own. There was also one other drawback. The price of such of power was that it wouldn't allow him to transfer all his collected quirks into his new body. Essentially he would need to start from scratch with a few quirks at most to help him.
All things considered he had never needed to rely on the power before. Most times if he wanted a quirk, he'd just take it from his victims. It was easier and more efficient. Rarely would he ever need to take the body of another and risk weakening himself exponentially. Yet here he was, practically blinded by his previous enemy. It seems like a change of body was no doubt in need now.
He would need to start over in a younger body, but he would have a new identity, so no enemies to chase after him. Even better if he played his cards right he could definitely use his new body to get close to All Might and his successor and steal OFA.
The possibilities were there....so now it was time to chose.
