Lilly stood there for a moment with the remote in her small hands, thinking about what she was wanting to swap between the two of them. 'I don't want to go home tonight and I just want to stay here.' She thought to herself, but to her surprise the remote fired on its own, hitting Josh squarely in the chest. Upon hitting him, a bright light enveloped the room causing the both of them to cry out in astonishment. "What happened?" Lilly wondered out loud as she instinctively started to run her eyes in an attempt to get the sport to clear. As soon as she was able to see once again, Lilly looked around and noticed everything was smaller that she was used too. Moving around the room, she also noticed that her clothes felt different too. "Wow." She exclaimed, seeing that she was wearing what Josh had been wearing only seconds before.
"What did you do?" Josh yelled out at seeing that Lilly was now wearing his clothes and was almost a foot taller than he was. After seeing at what Lilly was wearing, he glanced down to see the exact thing that Lilly had been wearing. "What am I wearing?" He exclaimed as he brought his gaze to Lilly who now stood at Jenn's height of about 5 feet. "What did you swap?" Astonished at what she was wearing, Lilly couldn't help but giggle. "What?" He asked looking up at her with disdain, but that's when he saw it. Gone was her long, wavy, dark hair and now in its place was the short brown hair that started to get shaggy.
Bringing his hand up to his own head and found the braid that she was wearing not rested on his back. Bringing it into his view, Josh noticed that it was the same color that Lilly's had been. Rushing over to the mirror and nearly barreling over Lilly in her much taller form, Josh gazed in awe at Lilly's reflection mirroring every move that he made. "Wow that's neat!" Josh heard Lilly's voice. Bringing his eyes up he could see his own reflection making silly faces. "You know, its kinda weird seeing myself in the mirror when its not me."
Turning to face her once more, Josh crossed his arms across his chest to look more intimidating. "So what all did you swap?" He asked, trying to gauge the problem that was going to be in. But was confronted with a giggling Lilly.
"Why do you care?" She retorted as she plopped down on to his bed, still marveling that she didn't have to jump up to get on it. However, seeing the resolve in his eyes, she sighed. "Fine, I think I was thinking about how I don't really want to go home tonight and stay here instead. Then it happened." She held out the remote to think about the power that it held and what she could do with it. Thinking about using it on her brother to understand how she feels or making him wear her clothes so that he will know what its like to sear skirts and dresses.
Lilly was too excited thinking about what she could do with the remote to hear Josh calling to her. "Lilly, let me have it." He was doing his best to reach for the remote, but Lilly was holding it out of reach from him. 'When I get back to normal, I'm not going to do this to Bri or Courtney ever again.' He thought to himself. "Give it to me!" Josh cried out in earnest.
Before he was able to get the remote, his door swung open and his Mom was standing in the door way with her hands on her hips, something that she would do when she was not happy with something. "Lilly Marie Wright." She yelled out looking at Josh trying to get the remote from Lilly. Still looking at Josh wearing Lilly's clothes, she pointed at him and sternly said. "Go downstairs and finish up your homework."
"But..." Josh replied in an attempt to get his point across, but was cut short.
With even more authority in her voice, Kim pointed out the door. "Now, young lady! I will talk to you downstairs!" Knowing that he wasn't going to win this round, Josh did what he was told and started to make his way back downstairs. As he was making his way out the door, he couldn't help but feel the skirt swaying with each step he took and noticed his phone on the desk charger where he placed it when he got home. Hoping that Jenn would be able to help him out of this mess, he quickly grabbed it while his Mom was laying into Lilly and started to make his way downstairs. "You don't have to tease her you know. She has it hard enough being around two guys that don't like doing anything she wants to do. She likes to come to you because you always treat her with dignity and don't let her down or push her aside."
Hearing this, Lilly couldn't help but keep quiet and listen to what her Dad's girlfriend thought of her. She nodded her head and watched as Kim left the room and went back downstairs so that she could keep an eye on Josh currently living Lilly's life.
