Ash calms Eevee

Eevee took a hesitant step towards Ash.

"There we go, it's OK." He said calmly. He then made the mistake of picking up his pokéball.

Eevee immediately got defensive and transformed into Jolteon, using Pin Missile to knock it away.

"Wow. So that's what they did."

Jolteon backed away growling, no longer trusting him.

He recalled the flute and, with what it did to Joy and Jenny, wondered if it would work on Pokémon.

He slowly removed the flute from his bag, so not to startle him further, and began playing it.

Jolteon seemed to calm at the music and approached, changing back to Eevee.

"There we go, you don't have to go in your pokéball."

Eevee jumped up onto his shoulder.

Ash noticed he was still nervous, but the flute seemed to help.

With everything he needed for his journey, he made his way to Route 1.
