Green was sleeping soundly until the morning sun woke her up. She always liked waking up with the sun but was never sure why.
She took her time getting dressed and eating as she knew there was plenty of time.
When she left, she noticed something in the tall grass. Investigating, she found a pokéflute. There didn't seem to be anyone close by, and no one in Pallet Town owned one, so she decided to keep it.
She made her way to the Lab and went straight to the waiting area.
After about 10 minutes, Prof. Oak walked in. "Morning, Green. Aren't you early?"
"As always." She said with a smile, and Oak continued into the lab.
Nearly 30 minutes later, Blue walked in and scowled at her. He wasn't the nicest person in town, so she took joy in getting him angry. What surprised her was he sat down without a word.
A little while later, Oak came out and noticed the two. "Where's Red?" After not getting an answer, he left to find him, annoying Blue further. This time though, she was too concerned about Red to enjoy it.
After another 20 minutes, Oak walked in with Red. "Finally!" Blue exclaimed.
They all followed Oak deeper in where there were three pokemon waiting.
"I'm sure you've had long enough to think about which one you want. Green, since you were here first, why don't you pick?"
Green knew Blue didn't like Red so decided to annoy him a little. "Red can go first, I don't mind." Blue looked at her, shocked, putting a smile on her face.
