You were relaxing on a Friday evening after school like any normal Friday. You had just finished up on your finals for the semester and now you were looking forward to enjoying Spring Break. While lying down on your bed, you heard a knock at the door.
“Sweetie? You in here?” You heard your mother ask from the side of the door. You rolled your eyes as you knew your mom wasn’t going to let you enjoy your break in peace.
“Yeah mom, you can come in,” you replied as she opened the door and stepped into the room.
“Honey, this room is a mess. I want you to clean it and when you’re done, vacuum downstairs for me,” she demanded. You couldn’t help but groan as you hated doing chores.
“Cleaning? No offense mom but isn’t that your job?” You said with a slight laugh at the end. Your mom rolled her eyes as she hated how her son at this age still made a big deal out of doing chores.
“Honey, this is your room, not mine. What are you going to do when you get a girlfriend? She won’t pick up after you,” your mom said.
“She will, that’s a woman’s job,” you said boldly. This type of attitude drove your mom up a wall as she hated the fact her son thought of women this way. She exited your room upset as you just laughed it off.
“I have no idea what I’m going to do about that boy,” your mother said to herself as she opened her phone and walked to her bedroom. As she sat down on her bed, an ad popped up for the Swap Clinic.
“Trying to teach your children a lesson about life? Come on down to the Swap Clinic and give them a life changing experience today!”
Your mother was curious about this ad and tapped on the ad. When the page opened to their website, your mother (Mary) found plenty of information about the company and the clinic itself. She found the section on body swaps and realized maybe this was what she needed. If she wanted to teach you a lesson on being a woman, this would be the best way. Instantly, Mary made her way back to your room. The door was still open from when she stormed out.
“Hon, put your shoes on, we’re going out,” Mary said to you as you let out another massive groan.
“Ugh I guess,” you said as you assumed this was just your mom getting you to run errands with you. You got up, got your shoes on, and soon were on your way to the Swap Clinic.
