You try to calm down and ignore all the annoying noises the neighbour's dog makes, before returning to your task of going to your dog. Once you reach the sofa, Spot immediately opens his eyes and his tail begans to wag. You pat him affectionately on the head before sitting down next to him, before grabbing the remote and turning on the Tv, setting it as loud as possible to deafen the noises coming from outside.
You try to search for a channel that would spark your curiosity. But Spot had other intentions. He got closer to you and began licking at your hand that was holding the remote. Giggling, you tell him to stop. He doesn't. On the contrary, the golden retriever gets even closer and starts licking your face, leaving his sticky drool on you.
Annoyed, you push him away, but he comes back and continues assaulting your face with his slobbery tongue. "What's the matter with you boy?" You said even more annoyed and deeply confused. He was always an affectionate boy, but never like this. The way he was licking you was also strange, it wasn't repetitive licks on the same area but all over your face, like he was intentionally trying to coat your entire head in his saliva.
Or maybe he likes how you taste! Ha! Now that's a far-fetched answer. Though, you weren't sure if your parents fed him before they left...
