"Why don't you come out here?" You say anxiously.
"Very well." the strange man says and walks into view. He is a tall man in a black cloak with a hood that nearly covers his face, save for a medium snout that protrudes from under the hood. His ears come out from the top of the hood as well, and behind him is bushy tail. "My name is Shilo," he says removing his hood revealing a yellow eyed animal head with scruffy black hair, "I'm a raccoon, and a sage. I'm sorry, but this town needs your help."
"Why my help? Why did you make me into a dog?! Where-"
"Calm down," he gestures with his hands, "first, your town is being slightly effected by the trouble in my world. Second: you need to blend in, though the transformation isn't complete yet but when it is you'll fit right in. Lastly: You are in Gordela, an inter dimensional town similar to yours, but it is a bit set back as far as technology, smaller, but the area around your home should be in the similar layout."
"This is a little much. What's going on here?"
"This may sound crazy, but everything is flourishing here." He waves his hand and the scene around you vanishes and a new one appears. You're now on a wall, on you guess the border of the town and it overlooks a large farm with fat livestock in the field, and the biggest produce you've seen. "Something is causing the natural life to grow at an incredible rate, and with increased nutrition, flavour, and size. Even the simplest of plants like grass has had an effect on everything. Consequently, the citizens have become increasingly overweight." He gestures to the other side of the wall and your eyes follow.
A drunken horse man comes out of a bar falling all over himself, his shirt is riding up a basketball sized gut that sloshes like a water balloon as he walks.
"You still haven't told me what I'm supposed to do." You say turning back to Shilo.
"My apologies. You are in a trans-dimensional rift, the fog that you saw basically. As you travel around this world, you will also be active in your world. Something in my world has caused this fauna to grow at such a rate and causing the people to gain weight so fast. I'd like if you could explore around and find the cause of what's going on. I believe it is magical based so take care."
"Alright... I'll try."
"You are underweight so it may take longer for you to gain, but I think you'll be fine." he waves his hand again and the scene vanishes and you are on the porch of a house, "Welcome home. I shall reappear should you need me. Thank you by the way." and with that he vanished.
Now in this strange world on your own, in a dog body, and every type of food is very filling. What should you do?
