Alan cursed. "I didn't mean to get this small!" Alan cried, his voice swallowed up in the vastness of a strange, new world.
No longer a part of a human world, he realized he was little more than a bug. "I can't be bigger than a fourth of an inch," Alan realized with a sinking feeling.
Staring at the colossal bench, he despaired. "I've got to reach that book," the tiny man cried. "It's my only chance of getting out of this mess."
With some satisfaction, he saw a massive tree growing alongside the bench. No, not exactly a tree. The massive plant was a flower, perhaps a daisy.
And, looking at the trunk-sized stem and the spacing of massive leaves, Alan dared to hope he could climb the gigantic flower in order to regain access to the spell book.
