You wonder what for, but it was obvious that she knew what you did. She wasn't surprised at all at the site of her tiny soon at her feet.
Slowly, you back up. You can make a quick dash to the grass and hide. If you figure you can hide at your friends house if you can just get away from her.
However, it wasn't so easy. Your mother takes the dirty sock off of her right foot and throws it at you. You duck quickly as the sock flies over you like a car tossed by a massive hurricane. When it hit the ground, a strong odor hit you. It was the aroma of your mother's sock. The smell made you hold your nose for a few seconds. It was a stupid mistake. You mother was right on top of you.
"GOTCHA", she maniacally states as she bends over to pick you up.
While doing so, a nosy neighbor looks over. Your mother didn't want to draw attention and what she wanted to do to you wouldn't be settle. She reaches for the sock instead. She opens it a little and whispers, "Get in there little man.... if you don't, I'll crush you like a bug.
Her voice was thunderous even though she whispered. It was almost enough to make you soil yourself.
