"This time for sure, I will have my revenge," muttered the aged, decaying sorcerer. His tallow-skinned, skeletal frame shuffled from shelf to shelf, picking up powders and elixers and throwing them into the bubbling cauldron in the center of the small, cramped room. The sorcerer held in one hand a spellbook, muttering to himself as he threw the spell together.
He knew he was running out of time. He had been away from all his sources of power for too long.
Which wasn't surprising, since his enemies had destroyed them all years ago.
"For too long, the plans of I, the great Ixis Naugus have been thrwarted. By Sonic and his friends, by the fools of the Knothole Kingdom that has reclaimed more than nine-tenths of this world, and by that imbecile Robotnik's, who's empire has been steadily chipped away at by furs less intelligent than he is. But that all changes today."
He threw the final ingredient in, and the cauldron roiled, turning a bright red.
Ixis coughed up some blood, and put the spellbook aside, reciting the incantation.
"Clever fox and cunning bat, make your bellies grow round and fat,
"Eat all you see, eat all you meet,
"For all that exists, is your tasty treat,
"Fulfill my will, as I go to final rest,
"Fulfill thy stomachs, and pass my test,
"Eat all Mobius, so sayeth I!
"Make the enemies of Naugus DIE!!!"
Lightning lanced out of the cauldron, vaporizing Naugus into ash. But as he died, a smile came over his face as the spell went out in two directions, fading into invisiblility and striking its intended targets.
And somewhere on Mobius, Miles 'Tails' Prower and Rouge the Bat suddenly became very hungry...
