The First Test.

Back in his room the next day, Adam examines the ring. It's smooth, solid gold, apart from a small, round area, about the size of a penny where the family seal is engraved.

Adam holds the ring for a minute and then slips it on.

Chuckling to himself, Adam closes his eyes and wishes.

"I wish i had a packet of chips, right now!" he whispers.

The ring glows and there's a 'thud!' on the bed. lying there, is a packet of chips.

"Wow" Adam thinks as he eats..."this is cool. I wonder what else this thing can do?"

Adam thinks and then:

"I wish it would start raining!"

There's a rumbling sound and, outside, rain begins to fall.

"Cool!" he says. He now wishes that...
