"What's going on here", Mrs. Pritty asked in a stern tone.
Both Kendra and Phil tried to explain what happened at the same time, giving Kendra a fairly large advantage, but Mrs. Pritty wasn't really looking for an answer to begin with. As per standard private school protocol, Mrs. Pritty had already decided what she was going to do.
"Nevermind", Mrs. Pritty silenced her babbling students, "You both shall have detention for the entire week".
"But", Kendra began.
"No buts about it", Mrs. Pritty interrupted, "Both you and Phil are going to stay in this room two hours after school for the rest of the week and that is final"!
"Aw man", both Phil and Kendra moaned in unison.
The rest of the school day went pretty well for Phil. Of course, Phil hadn't made any friends, as per his mother's request, but he had learned a lot of things both about his lesson and school life.
However, Phil was simply dreading his date with detention the entire day. Phil had hear about detention from a few movies and tv sitcoms, but no one ever had to stay at detention for more than a few minutes before commercial brakes. Also, Phil was a bit worried about having to be in the same room as that Kendra girl for two hours.
At the end of Phil's last class, Mrs. Pritty appeared into the classroom to collect Phil. This wasn't too much trouble for Mrs. Pritty though, seeing as how her room was directly across from Phil's last period classroom. Mrs. Pritty scooped Phil up in her hand and took him away without saying a word.
Phil was taken into Mrs. Pritty's room where he was greeted by a view of the beautiful, but angry-looking Kendra. Phil was set down at his assigned seat directly infront of Kendra. This worried Phil, but he reassured himself that Mrs. Pritty would be watching them the entire time.
"If you'll excuse me, I have some things to do. I'll be back when it is time for you two to leave. You two had better not cause any trouble", Mrs. Pritty ruined Phil's comfort zone.
Kendra's face lit up as she responded, "Oh, don't worry Mrs. Pritty, everything will be all peachy keen in here".
Mrs. Pritty left the room and closed the door behind her. Before Phil could even think of something to fear, he was already surrounded by Kendra's cave-like fist. Phil could feel himself being raised into the sky. Kendra then opened her palm, revealing her tiny prize to her house-sized face. Kendra had a funny smirk on her face.
