Ms. Prittey started admonishing Phil, saying "young man, this is completely unacceptable in my class. You were supposed to be paying attention, not making out with my students." Before he could argue, Ms. Prittey looked at Valerie and said "and you, young lady, were responsible for him. I must say I'm very disappointed."
Valerie sighed, and said "I'm sorry, Ms. Prittey, it won't happen again." Ms. Prittey looked at her and said "oh yes it will." The girl looked up at her teacher with a confused look. Ms. Prittey continued "as punishment, Phil will remain taped to your lips for the rest of the class." Phil started squirming in his teacher's hand, but it was to no avail. Ms. Prittey went to her desk, pulled out a piece of scotch tape, and walked over to Valerie. She placed the tiny boy face first across Valerie's closed, enormous lips, and secured him there with the tape.
"Now," Ms. Prittey said, "let's get back to our lesson. And if Phil leaves your lips before class is over, it's detention for the both of you." The teacher returned to the board, while Phil struggled against the tape. It was hopeless, and he was stuck in his kiss for the remainder of class.
