Severus Snape gets onto thet train to Hogwarts waving goodbye to his relatives who were nice enough to be able to drop him off. Taking his owl into the first compartment he sees. There is a blond boy sitting in the compartment.
"Hi, I'm Lucius, Lucius Malfoy," the boy says.
"I'm Severus, Severus Snape," Severus says eyeing this boy nervously.
"Anything off the trolley dears?" the woman with the lolly cart asked.
"Yeah, I'll have some Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, some chocolate frogs and, oh give me one of everything." Lucius says jiggling his change in his pockets. "What are you having?" he looks at Severus. Severus looks at his pockets which doesn't exactly have as much as Lucius does. "Um, I'll just have some Bertie Botts every flavour bean and some chocolate frogs," he said.
"Well this is my first year to Hogwarts you know," Lucius said looking at his new friend. "I hope that I'm put in Slytherian, could you imagine if they put you into Hufflepuff? I think I'd go home wouldn't you?"
"Impatient pack of losers," Severus mummbled underneath his breath. "What house do you think you'll be in? I suppose you look like a Gryfindor type of boy to me, Gryfindor wouldn't be that bad."
"Yeah, I suppose not," Severus said staring out the window. At that moment someone appeared at the door.
