![]() ![]() ![]() I saw this title on the Prose page and it reminded me of an old story I wrote on the Ants go Marching. I Iike the creepy idea of a scorpion March. Chills! This expression is really well written in its detailed vivid description of the journey of the scorpion across the cat territory and home again! The detail movement of the scorpion body and the pincer action, the cts and the environment are so cleatr in my mind as I read. The language is effective and it is comical when the cats miss! The repeated line of "the scorpion marches on" is such an effective tool and focuses our attention of the determination and fearlessness of the creature. I could follow the wrtitng eaasily and the present tense really works and is well accomplished. The cats were fun to observe jumping from all places in the living room to watch and worry the intruder. I Iike how you try to personify them and get into their cat minds--no allowing other creatures "complacency"! LOL The scorpion is quite the character as you describe it. Such is it life --he ends up where he started. LOL It is obvious that you have observed these beings. This was entertaining and fun to read. Good show! ![]() Light on the path as you write on!
