![]() ![]() ![]() Hello Write_to_disorder ![]() ![]() ![]() This item confuses me a little bit. It's a short story, but it reads more like an editorial or something? If that's the case, there is an option for editorials in the static item so that you can market your story the right way. I think when most people see a short story comedy, they're going to have a little something different in mind. And so it goes. I do think this is an interesting piece of writing. I hate Christmastime because of the expenses. It's so pointless to hand your brother a 20-dollar gift card and he hands you a 20-dollar t-shirt that you'll never wear. JUST WHY!? ![]() ![]() Some of these seem like interesting ideas. I think you can get away with a lot of free drinking around the holidays. There are plenty of Christmas parties that you don't even need to crash, really. People are off work or they're having office parties. Lots of time for those functions where you drink a little too much and offend the secretary. Some of the other things mentioned here, I don't have much experience with, to be honest. I'm not sure what's up with the Santa experience or how someone would make money off of it. I mean, to do an event like that would take time/money. I don't think random people on the street would even buy into it with all the scams people run, especially in the city. The last one about the dinner party where people pay to go to... I'm, like, 90 percent sure that wouldn't work at all. Even just a tiny room for a reception and then enough food for a couple dozen people is ridiculously expensive. Even if you try making them buy tickets, you'd have to sell a lot of tickets to outweigh the cost of the staff, food, drinks, and actual renting of the place. Plus, why would people be going to this random Christmas event with all the free holiday parties with the free booze mentioned above? Basically, I'm not sure what to make of this piece! ![]() ![]() ![]()
