What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* I think that one good thing leads to another when you start getting recognized for outstanding work. This fine short story is about the burdens of sudden fame and success on someone pretty young.

*Notebl* Next time, be sure and remember to bold the opening and closing line as per Sophy wishes WDC Happy 25th! Author Icon's directions in giving the prompt. That is a technical thing that is easily remedied and not a big deal in the panoramic view. *Notebl*

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

*Thumbsup*I like the fact that life seems to go in with siblings and those around and one still prepares for the worst when an authority figure approaches. That is a quite natural and understandable response!

I enjoyed your story, reading about a triumph! For once, it was about the work and not about who knows who. Love reading that!

I am not an expert on poetry or prose or much else. I am certainly not an editor or proof reader, heaven forbid! I am merely a reader who loves to read and the judge for today in "Writer's Cramp wishes WDC Happy 25th!" Open in new Window.. I look at a review as my personal and unique reaction to what I have read and a sharing of what I bring to the table on any given day. Sometimes I don't bring much, but I enjoy my reading adventures either way.

This site is open to all sorts of writers and reviewers. I like to keep an open mind about reading and reviewing. My own personal preference for reviews is that they be concise and more about the writing than the knowledge (or lack thereof) of the reader.
