 | Dear Me 2021  [E] Kicking my own fanny into gear...  |
| (4.5)   Greetings Tanith !What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?  I am reviewing your Dear Me letter as one of the judges for "Dear Me: Official WDC Contest" . Thanks for entering! What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item? It is tough to start out the year with worry about someone else. It is good to regroup and you did that in time to enter so that's positive and setting out some doable goals that are not too overwhelming seems like a very smart approach to me.  One thing to remember in future entries is to include your word count. I have forgotten that myself at times, so I know that's an easy one to overlook when we focus on the writing.  My criteria for judging Dear Me letters is about what I find memorable and interesting. It may not agree with anyone else's judgment. I also look for that which touches me personally. That is to give you an idea of where I'm coming from in the whole judging realm. No expert on keeping my own New Year's Resolutions, I didn't even try to think of any this year. So, I'm also looking to be inspired with my own plans for the year. I admire you for your organizational skills. You analyze what is needed and pinpoint what needs to be done. Nice and concise and well without your ability to achieve, I'd say. What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item? I like the focus on writing and reading. Starting small with organizing stuff and clutter sounds sensible to me, too. When you read, you want to analyze what works so you can use that in your writing. That makes a lot of sense. Reading and thinking can only lead to good writing so well done, there! Starting on the last day of January makes more sense to me than starting on the first.
