I'm JACE , and I have the honor of reading and reviewing your offering "Writing Free Verse"  in honor of your WDC anniversary. I invite your attention to the comments below. Please bear in mind these notes are from one on the outside looking in; ultimately only you can decide what's right for your story.

*Note1* Overall Impression. First congrats on achieving 22 years on WDC, and for all the help and support you've provided over these years.

I admit to having a real love-hate relationship with poetry. I do enjoy form poetry (I feel like a monkey who can successfully mimic the rules for a specific form); I have a difficult time reviewing free verse (I've not yet conquered my fear to write such a poem).

After reading your essay, I feel confident enough to try writing a free verse poem. You make a lot of sense. I especially liked your example of prose vs verse. I'll be back to read more of your poetic techniqes.

*Exclaim* Technical and Editorial Considerations. In this section I normally list those areas that relate specifically to the mechanics of your writing--punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc.

         *Bullet* I found only one error. Shouldn't this line--Kith and ken -- be Kith and kin   

*Thumbsup* Favorite Part. This was me ... until I re-read your article twice.

  "I'm lost." The questioner frowns in confusion.
