A woman looks out a window on Valentine's day, looking for a bird to give her a sign of what her future beholds, in terms of her love life, not wanting to be a maiden. She ends up seeing a hawk. What this means, she doesn't know. Then, she ends up saving the life of a plasterer from a terrible fate. There's plenty that happens as a result.

I don't see any issues with spelling or grammar, once I understood what I was reading.

Suggestion
Might help to put in a date - not everyone expects Shakespearean script in a story.
