WDC Virtual Dice

Last month, I discussed rolling dice for motivation to get things done, and a few great members reminded me that we have a tool here on Writing.Com that works great for that purpose! I can't believe I forgot about it!

Writing.Com has virtual dice right here on our site!

You can find it by clicking on this link *Right* https://www.writing.com/main/tools/action/roll_dice

Or you can click on Writing.Com Tools on the left side of the screen and clicking on Virtual Dice. There are so many useful ways to use this feature, and it has so much more to it than rolling physical dice! Not only can you select the number of dice and how many die sides, but you can choose how many rolls, and it will save your rolls!

This can be very useful when using a roll to decide a random drawing. You can store the results so they can be viewed publicly and you can also view past rolls! This can be incredibly useful!

Thanks to Annette Author Icon and Leger~ Author Icon for reminding me about this great feature!

As always, keep on writing! *Quill* And be kind, but honest! *Heart* *Smile*

Ask & Answer

My last newsletter, ("Contests & Activities Newsletter (January 12, 2022)Open in new Window.), discussed rolling dice for motivation. Here is some feedback from last week's Newsletter readers:

Don't forget Writing.com's own virtual dice. That app can even roll several dice at a time. One for the home, one for writing, and one for reviewing.

Of course! How could I forget?! *Bigsmile*

I love using our own WDC Virtual Dice for any time I need to choose a number!
