One tip for promotion given by Dana Stabenow was to post information about one's self everywhere possible. An excellent way to do that is to have a customized signature.

Customized Signatures for Emails and other Items
To promote anytime I send something online, I have a customized signature for personal use and one for professional.

is my personal signature. Of course if I could actually copy and paste it here, you would see the correct sizes, colors, and links. However, I couldn't get it to paste in its entirety, so links don't appear.
My professional signature contains the following:
Vivian Zabel
President, 4RV Publishing LLC
"Quality books by quality authors & illustrators"
4RV website: 4rvpublishingllc.com
Contact Me FacebookTwitter
Brain Cells & Bubble Wrap Did you ever notice ...
--- @ WiseStamp Signature. Get it now
As you can see, both contain information to promote me or 4RV, but they are different. My personal signature focuses on my writing motto, my latest novel, how to contact me on Facebook and Twitter, and my blog link. My professional one has the company motto and website, its pages on Facebook and Twitter, and my blog, since we don't have a company blog - something we need to set up.
I can add either signature to any email and to posts on Facebook and other places. W.Com is one of the few places I can't use a signature.
Through WiseStamp, editing is easy, too.
I can hear someone asking, "So what?" A prepared signature, well thought out and organized, gives people a chance to promote themselves and their writing, blog, whatever. The trick is not to make it too long but sufficient to cover what is needed. Then the signature must be used with every message we send. Quick, easy promotion.
What do you do to promote that is quicker and easier and will reach everyone with whom you communicate? |

Words from Our Readers
I appreciate hearing from those who found last month's newsletter helpful.

Thanks for plugging my novel for review. I really appreciate. Also, thank you for the very informative newsletter about reviewing. One of the first things I learned that really helped m in writing reviews was coming up with a format. Specific areas to address each time I write a review, much like what you outlined.

Great information. I have used quite a bit of it in writing my online novel Hitler's Granddaughter, my port.
Thanks for joining me for this issue. I'll see you again next month if my surgery goes well later this month.
