I got up from my chair and turned to get something off the printer, when I spotted a Cheerio on the floor. As I picked it up, I chuckled to myself. If I were at home, I would simply pick it up and throw it in the garbage but since I was at work, this little byte of cereal made me giggle as I thought of my baby daughter. My husband and I have become accustomed to finding Cheerios, crackers, chips all over our house and in interesting places, ie. in a pan in the cupboard, under the couch, the car, etc. We're so blessed to have a healthy baby, both being 40 and "Surprised!" I was so amused by the Cheerio that I set it on my desk so I could glance at it throughout the day and think of Briana. She is a precious, very busy, child with soft brown hair and incredible, big, blue eyes. She is constantly looking at everything around her, absorbing every texture, every shape. It amazes me what she notices and even now that she is starting to talk that she spits out every word that we say, back to us. As soon as she learned how to run, she stopped walking and now, runs everywhere. Her laugh and giggle are completely pure and uninhibited that it warms my heart and makes me smile. I guess I should get some work done but I will keep glancing at the Cheerio as images of her continue to play in my mind.
