Well you were here so long before me
I’m just glad you were there to show me
there’s so many things a man can do
and every one depends on you.

You were always there and you gave it all
even while down, you always stood tall.
You were just doing what you’d always done
when the reaper came and made it your last run.

because he don’t pick the guest that’s next

Now you are gone and we’re here without
all of your good both in and out.
We’ll miss you awhile but we’ll reunite
after were done with this life so trite.

I’ve been so sad since you had to go.
