Scratching along the edge
A look over my shoulder
No word
No thought
Nothing
Just echoes through the void

Swallowing down
Another pill
Passing another
Kidney stone
Nulifing the pain
Lost and…
Confused and…
a clean but dry slate
Just echoes through the void

Where did all of my thoughts go
Over where
avoiding all abandoned faces
and their plastic smiles
