Cat Lover's Big Q (poem)

Is it the clouds in the sky

Is it love in itself?

Or when a night-black cat

sits on toppa your shelf?



Is it the soft green eyes

not warm nor cool?

the switching tail

or the kitty-cat school?



Is it that sound..what was it...

...a rumbling purr?

or to bury your face

in the smooth warm fur?



to me it's a cat

one to cuddle and hold

and to snuggle up to

when the weather gets cold.
