religious writing

I have had an "inspriation". I have an idea that just popped into my head while at work. But I have no idea how to begin as I have never worked on this type of genre before.
The idea is of a man, an executive, who has everything. Money, cars, a large house, a beautiful wife. He rebukes jesus and grequently takes the lords name in vain. He ends up losing everything. The only idea I have had on this is by identity theft. He, of course, becomes upset and asks God why. As the story goes on and he sees the other side of life, his life then changes. He gains his property back, but is a changed man. I'm sure this type of story has been done a thousand times. But as I said, I have never written spiritually before. I have just begun work on it and hopefully will post it on here when completed. And ideas or suggestions are of welcome.
