Another love poem.
“The Inevitable”

Why are men so indecisive?
Is it because they are afraid to commit?
Why are women such suckers for love?
Is it because they are pure of heart?

Someone once said: “Hate the game not the player”.
In refute to that one girl stood up and asked: “Why not hate the player and not the game?”
No one had an answer to that.
Maybe society has made us soft and fools.

For I still don’t understand why men can be so cruel at times, yet so sweet.
While we mend our broken heart and sorrows,
There is still a light of hope lit somewhere in the darkness.
In the meanwhile we use a disguise to hide our tears.

Even from previous experiences, we still don’t quite understand why we love our man as we do.
Although pain races within there is a long way to go before the wounds heal.
Its all about time and patience.
As one said: “If that person comes back to you, then its meant to be. If not, now you know why things have a reason”.

The sole purpose in life is survival.
The question is who’ll make it.
Those who have the misfortune to fall in love or those lucky enough to never have experienced it?
And it all goes back to why we act the way we do or do the things we do.

Who was it to say men were perfect and sensitive?
Was it those who are afraid to commit or those scared to show the softer side of them?
Who was it to say women had to live up to other peoples expectations?
Was it those who are afraid to be a real woman and cry or those showing how vulnerable they really are?

Before she met him,
All she could think about was finding that prince charming.
Not having any knowledge of what love is.

Misunderstanding her sole purpose in life.
She realized she wanted to live.
When she met him, life forever changed.

Does he notice me was what she asked herself everyday.
Would it comfort him to know she’d take a bullet for him?
It makes her wonder so much she’s starting to rhyme.

Stroking his hair and staring at him,
She saw a light.
Waking up from his nap,
He stared back at her and laughed.
She was appalled.

Before a second could pass by,
He pulled her close for a passionate kiss.
Within the embrace they were in,
This kiss lead to what would last forever.

All she needed was reassurance of his feelings for her.
And all he wanted was her.

Who was it to say it all ended there?
When that’s just the beginning of the story.
For love is something sweet and sour, yet vital and essential to life.

At the beginning these two were strangers
As time progressed these two became closer
For many years she has been saying prayers
Hoping she found the one and not a poser

One day its heaven and the stars are shining
Another day its hell and its pouring
Loving him like the art of designing
And he learning the art of loving

Feeling the music is what brought them together
As time became what united them more
Soon they both felt as light as a feather
By letting him lead her it was a score

After that they became one and only
Rid of her fear she danced away
And her thoughts was no longer on being lonely
They danced the night away on bay
