The next word must begin with the third letter of the first word and so on until the first word has been completely "spelled out."
Then, according to your poetic needs, you add another word, spell it out with subsequent words, and so on until you finish your poem.
There is no other requirement, but it's not as easy as it may seem, especially if you don't want to write completely abstract poetry.
