Signs

I see signs;
Signs are weird at times.
They say things they don’t really say,
They show things they don’t really show,
They do things they don’t really do.
I want to find somewhere, I can’t find it;
Where is the place I want to go?
In and out and roundabout;
I walk up a road and find a dead end.
Would someone please help!
These signs don’t do what they say on the tin.
They are supposed to guide;
I feel like suicide.
I can’t take it as read;
I am misled;
It’s all in my head;
I want to go to bed!
