Ever felt lost within yourself?
I can't complain to what you say
But my life is a pain for reasons unknown today
Tomorrow and yesterday hurt, as did others.
My eyes are here, mouth is shut, can't be bothered.
Don't ask why, there isn't an answer
Disease not hid, but life is cancer.
Multiplied disapointments, hurts uncalled for,
Just when enough is enough, here's a truck load more.
I won't complain, but my mouth is open, directed at you.
No need to say anything, if I only knew.
Your confused at what I have, your decieved.
It's not what it's cracked up to be.
Days that are average become one blur.
My mind is full, searching for a cure.
But I escape the hate.
I live in a room where I can fly without wings,
have no pain of hurt, or evil things.
Blind to the violence, trapped in, unaware.
I have the strength to get out of bed, by forgetting I care.
but by forgetting I might as well be alseep, I'm no good awake.
I put on a smile and walk out the door fake.
Into a world that won't even see me,
for who I am or who kills me.
The worlds eyes see a me that will never be.
but they wouldn't understand, they won't reach out for my hand.
So I can't complain to a world that is blind,
when it's myself I cannot find.
