"Becoming"

Once as to an unknown fear
My heart becomes stronger still,
Only to hold close a hand
That levitates my will.

Understanding all I see and hear,
Foraging for my inner peace.
Standing higher than ever past,
This growth that will never cease.

Plainly moving with endurance,
Passing all rocks to overturn;
The road now breaks in two,
Bringing choices that carry scorn.

Left or right is seen by all,
Peering farther down to view
The path that rises after the hardest fall,
It is there I will walk anew.
