A Question about post-secondary education |

Hi everybody. I had earlier written a poll asking about the top colleges and Universities and it came to my attentions that(not haveing options or knowledge of any of these schools) an In and Out would probably be a better choice. So my questions up for discussion. I found a top ranking for Creative Writing programs in the nations but it was composite of a ranking taken in 1998 and one in 2002 which would be long outdated by my graduation in 2008. One of my questions is that could the standings have changed in this period of time or could this ranking be somewhat accurate? here's a link : http://www.english.ucsb.edu/undergrad/aftermajor/mfa.asp and there are more if you google it. Another one of my questions is that some schools only offer graduate programs. Is that(me being ignorant of the college system) post degree? For instance like seminary where you have to have a bachelor's in something before you can go to seminary. Or is a graduate degree just the years you take post-core curriculum classes? Im confused on this subject so please leave insight. Also What are some noteable colleges that you guys know of from experience that would be helpful. And to you guys(since we all know that writing is no guaranteed career in this world) what is a good choice to go with a writing degree. For me the most practical would be some sort of medicine. and being a doctor/writer....but being Christian I could goto seminary and be a pastor/writer or get a PHD and be a professor/ writter....those were my first thoughts but I didn't know. just because following your dreams is great and all but it would be tough to fufill the vision God and I have for my life without proper resources. (i know i should be faithful but thats another sermon for another day if you will) I was just hoping for a second opinion.
