My commitment to God

I once was blind,
Which way to go I could not find,
I used my instinct and my mind,
The end results were not kind.

I figured out I needed to let God lead the way,
Open my heart to him and everything would be ok,
Let him light the right pathway,
and listen to everything he has to say.

So to God I'm rededicating my life,
I will be still and let God guide me through the strife,
I'm being baptized in the name of the Holy God above,
and open my soul for God to fill with love.

My heart will be with him as he walks by my side,
and I will feel his holiness fill me from top to bottom inside,
I praise God for all his many blessings,
and thank him for lifes new beginnings.
