When someone hits you, what to you do?
My parents hit me then say, what's wrong with you
I know they don't want me, it's perfectly clear
And that makes me wonder, Lord, why am I here
Welps and bruises everywhere you look
And sometimes they even hit me with a book
All the choking and slapping
Makes me wonder if this makes them happy
You reap what you sow
It doesn't matter where you go
I'm pretty much used to it now
But I still wonder why and how
I like it when I'm all alone
But I still think of the things that I've done wrong
People always notice when I'm not doing right
Being scared all day and night
All the tears and fears
Everyone sees but no one hears
No one knows what I go through
But when someone hits you what do you do?
