| We watch eachother quietly and disturb not eachother's thoughts Look out to a rugged sea from watercolor rocks. Embracing union with elements stronger than we- I discover peace in your humble majesty. Memories of a childhood blow through my hair, monuments of nature streched before us. Perhaps you remember stillness of this ocean's breath, compassion of your flock, silence as your crown. Today a lullabye of salty mist, you know this world better than I. For I am but a visitor, transient sorrows pass you by, we ponder life in general. I've taken joy in your freedom, as without fear of eachother we share our breakfast... ..dwell in solitude from our kind. I thank you for accepting me. Images possess my mind. We are both close to this earth, though when we part goodbye, You will take to flight, and I will turn and walk away. http://www.Writing.Com/authors/dcsagec |
