I Remember the First

From the beginning,
I never thought an end would be.
But now deep inside,
Im to scared to see.

I look into your eyes,
And the world slowly stops.
I look at you smile,
And my mouth drops.

I never knew no matter how hard i tried,
That i could ever love someone as much as you.
When your around all i do is smile,
And when im around all you do is smile too.

I still remember the first,
The first time I held you hand.
Its like we was at the beach,
Running through the sand.

I still remember the first,
The first time we kissed.
I look into your eyes,
Afraid I was going to miss.

Then I remember the first,
The first time you said i cant.
I felt my heart tear apart,
And i slowly begin to slant.

A thousand thoughts,
Pace through my head.
All of those wonderful things,
That she had said.

Together forever,
We was suppose to be.
But that was shot down,
And it stung like a bee.

Maybe someday it will change,
And we will be together again.
This time maybe we will be,
Forever and ever amen.

I hope and pray each day,
That this day will be soon.
And it will be like,
A lovely day in June.
