WDC AND IT’S MEMBERS


I would like to thank the team at WDC
For providing an outlet for my poetry.
And to a few individuals who’ve been ever so kind
For their GP’s and advice on things I couldn’t find.

MEG started me off and I’m in her debt.
The smartest person I know bar none, I’d bet.
She corrects me when I’m wrong but in the nicest way,
And to receive her review always makes my day.

Sherri is great and she makes me think
How I can better my words written in ink.
She is always generous, honest and kind,
And I only wish more like her, I could find.

Nancy is lovely and she writes from the heart,
She gave me advice when I first made my start.
One piece she wrote brought a tear to my eye,
Thought I’d never see the day where through poetry, I’d cry.

There’s so many more who’ve inspired me here,
And to those I have missed, my apologies, sincere
Like Braddock, Geno, Mduci and Ken,
And so many more who’ve put pad to pen.
