Deep in my heart I yearn for magic. I too am a seeker of Middle Earth. |
Seek Thee the Way? In the shadows lay a path Shrouded in stillness. Curtained with sweet ivy, like lace Few will see its promise. Wary are they whose heart are weak Broken are dreamers led astray Few are those deemed worthy To cast their eyes upon its secrets Ask the lass. She is the warden who holds the spell. “Is thy hand steady?” “Be thy back strong, thy limbs agile?” She turns the world with a flip of her hand. Flames of viridian smolder in her orbs depths. “The questions are mine!” “Ask you, I will.” “ What knows thee of Honor and Loyalty?” Sweet the words that drips from her lips. Softly, so gently in a soft murmur she speaks. “Be the love of thy own heart pure?” “Be thy purpose true?” Seek thee the door from whence thee would go. It lies not far from here Though few may see it It comes willy nilly in the shadows Lit by the sparkle of dew in early morn Hidden by a veil of mist. Middle Earth awaits the warrior and sage, Few dare go venturing. I an Eldritch witch outside of time Bespeak the foolish seeker With a charm, a word of fond farewell Lightly and innocent as a kiss I would turn the child of man away To those of valor and visions true Few are the Seekers of Destiny I whisper quietly, Softly, I send them through “Seek thee the key bearer?” ”Hearken well to the lass!” ”She sings the riddle that twines the path.” ”Be she healer or be she hag?” ”I smell a mystery.” Yon door stands slightly ajar Beckoning thee to adventure. With Elder words of caution I whispered sweetly in thy ear. The swirling mist awaits a decision Dare you the path? Tread lightly or not at all Go thee or stay? |
