Today we promise to love unconditionally
To prove to each other whom we said to be
We start our long walk, through Matrimony
Once we were children separately driven
Learning our ways in this world we were given
With each lesson and obstacle we begged for hope
We secretly prayed for our rescue rope
Till today
The past of pain has melted away
I now will share my path
Through this worlds wrath
The universe has given us many gifts
And today my heart lifts
A gift of passion,
Acceptance
And A gift of patience
Now together we can savor our moment
To finally seal our covenant
Please help me grow
Help me rise to every battle and show
That I will fight to be your hero
A king A queen your Pharaoh
When the world pulls me down and is hard to face
Grab me with your embrace
Whisper to me your wisdom
Steer me towards GODs kingdom
Show me the right from wrong
Remind me always we belong
Lead me through the darkness with your gentle kiss
And show me beauty and bliss
The world can be bitter
But I’ll persevere with your laughter
As you forgive me when I get weak
And push me to share when I’m afraid to speak
Together we stand, Together rise
Today we are given our prize
Get old with me and feel free
Let’s lay together under our maple tree
Or sit beside each other on our
Rocking chairs
As we laugh at each gray hair
Let us gaze at our cloudless sky
Where will share our memories
Never will I lie
When I close my eyes in my very last moment
My soul will smile in rest and contentment
That every step of the way
