So just out of curiosity,
I happened to click on it.
And what did I find,

First of all, a slinky
Danced across the screen,
With silver and blue coils,

Then a telephone cord
Wiggled its way on,
Still attached to the receiver,
With the word “Bell” on.

Next, a spiral staircase
With a railing all a swivel
The printing below it
Was an alphabetic drivel.

As all these kinky objects
Spiraled across my screen,
I couldn’t imagine who
Would about this be so keen.

The final page was for meeting
The people with a different bent.
You had to love a slinky,
A telephone, or at least a crooked dent.

So as I clicked away from its page,
I could not help but wonder
What would happen if a slinky
Would straighten all asunder?
